There are 14 Characters to unlock in the game.

 

The easiest way is to play the Subspace Emissary

mode with different Characters to unlock 11 of them.

 

This is the order you will unlock them in, or in brackets

is the alternative way to unlock them.

 

NESS (play 5 brawls)

MARTH (play 10 brawls)

LUIGI (play 22 brawls)

FALCO (play 50 brawls)

CAPTAIN FALCON (play 70 brawls)

LUCARIO (play 100 brawls)

SNAKE (play 130 brawls)

R.O.B (play 160 brawls, or collect 260 trophies)

Mr GAME & AND WATCH (play 250 brawls, or clear

1 level of Target and Smash with 30

different Characters)

GANONDORF (play 200 brawls, or beat

Classic Mode on hard using Link or Zelda)

SONIC (play 300 brawls, or beat Classic Mode

with 10 different Characters)

 

The Final 3 Characters can also be found in Subspace Emissary Mode,

behind hidden doors that only appear after you complete it.

This is where you will find them.

 

JIGGLYPUFF (play 350 brawls) or in the Swamp

TOON LINK (play 400 bawls) or in the Forest,

or clear classic mode after completing SSE

WOLF (play 450 brawls) or in the Ruins
